(October 12th, 2022) — RAZR Ice Augers, manufacturer and distributor of the most complete line of high-performance ice augers in North America, earlier this month announced two new lightweight ice auger series for sale this ice fishing season, the RAZR Synthetic Ultra and the RAZR Synthetic Lite.
Both product lines, Synthetic Ultra and Synthetic Lite will be available in 6-inch and 8-inch hole sizes. Ice Anglers will find the augers available at dealers and online beginning October and into early November this year. Read below for more information and videos on each.
The RAZR Synthetic Ultra offers a 33% weight reduction compared to steel ice augers.
They are lightweight, extremely fast and can be operated by either a 18v+ Brushless
Electric Drill or a Lithium Ice Auger Power Head. Every Synthetic Ultra unit is built upon our durable steel blade carriage equipped with RAZR Pro Curved Blades and Center Point to keep your drilling steady, efficient and lightning fast. These units come with 40” of flighting allowing ice anglers to drill through 36” of ice without optional extensions. Included in the packaging is the Ultra Drill Adapter which connects the ice auger directly to your brushless drill with a 1/2” chuck. Backed by a leading 3-Year Warranty.

The RAZR Synthetic Lite offers a 30% weight reduction compared to our popular RAZR Scout Ice Auger. These new drills are lightweight, fast and can be operated by a 18v+ Brushless Electric Drill or a Hand Auger Handle. The Synthetic Lite is built upon our durable steel blade carriage and equipped with RAZR Curved Blades and Center Point to keep you drilling steady, efficient and fast. These units come with 19” of flighting allowing anglers to utilize the auger all season by adjusting the height of this auger from 31 to 43 inches. Every Synthetic Lite unit comes ready to attach to your 1/2 chuck Brushless Drill with our Brushless Drill Adapter Extension Kit. The RAZR Synthetic Lite is backed by a 3 Year Warranty.
